PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in a transmission performance due to frequency selective fading, while reducing the quantity of feedback information. SOLUTION: A propagation path estimation part 102 uses a reception signal (reception pilot) to estimate a channel estimate value indicating characteristics of a propagation path between a transmission apparatus and a receiving apparatus 100. A cepstrum analysis part 103 performs cepstrum analysis on the channel estimate value to calculate a cepstrum coefficient of the channel estimate value.
