The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for diagnosing cardiac arrhythmia, which enable the diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmia such as fibrillation, tachycardia, or the like. The method for diagnosing cardiac arrhythmia according to the present invention comprises the following steps: (a) measuring the size of a heart; (b) measuring the frequency of the electric waves of the heart; (c) measuring the conduction velocity of the electric waves of the heart; and (d) determining the existence of cardiac arrhythmia using the values measured in steps (a), (b) and (c). According to the present invention, electrical wave vortices, which cause cardiac arrhythmia, can be predicted and diagnosed using non-dimensional parameters, thereby screening for patients who are likely to die or suffer brain death due to cardiac arrhythmia, and significantly reducing the mortality rate of patients. |
