A broadcasting signal receiver is disclosed. A broadcasting signal receiver, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an OFDM demodulator, which OFDM demodulates PLP data and signaling information included in a broadcasting signal; a MISO decoder, which MISO decodes the PLP data and signaling information; a frame de-mapper, which carries out cell de-mapping of the PLP data and signaling information and frame parsing; and a BICM decoder, which bit de-interleaves and FEC decodes the PLP data and signaling information, wherein the BICM decoder also includes a MIMO decoder, which MIMO decodes MIMO-type PLP data included in the PLP data, and the OFDM de-modulator includes an additional preamble detection module, which detects additional preamble symbols included in the broadcasting signal.
