METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device which suppresses curving of the liquid crystal display device. Bonding processes of bonding a long polarizing film onto a liquid crystal panel (2) while cutting off the polarizing film are respectively performed on both surfaces of the liquid crystal panel (2). Then, in at least either of the bonding processes, the liquid crystal panel (2) is conveyed faster than the polarizing film. Because this enables to apply a tension to the polarizing film being bonded to the liquid crystal panel (2), it is possible to correct the individual properties of a manufacturing device (10) which is used when performing the bonding processes (so-called the propensity of the device), so that the curving (warpage) of the liquid crystal panel (2) can be suppressed. That is, because it is possible to suppress the curving of the manufactured liquid crystal display device (1), the productivity and the yield of the final product can be increased (the defective fraction is reduced).
