<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pump unit easy in waterproof and allowing compactification and reduction of the weight and cost. <P>SOLUTION: The electric pump unit includes a pump 5 in which oil suction ports 39, 40 and oil discharge ports 42, 43 respectively communicating with the outside are formed in axial end walls 14a, 14b partitioning a pump chamber 14, a motor shaft 27, a motor rotor 28 provided fixedly on the motor shaft 27, and a motor stator 29 arranged around the motor rotor 28. The motor stator 29 is integrated with a lid 7 sealing the opening of a recess 4 of an unit housing 2 in which oil O is introduced, and is integrated with a pump housing 13, and the pump 5 and an electric motor 6 are contained in the recess 4. The oil suction port 40 of the pump housing 13 communicates directly with the outside, and between the pump housing 13 and the motor stator 29, oil passages 60, 63 are formed for introducing oil to the oil suction port 40 from the radial outside of the pump housing 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
