PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine, in which, when knock occurs, ignition timing is delayed so as to prevent the knock, a torque reduction accompanying the delayed ignition timing is compensated by an increase in an intake air amount, and further generation of knock owing to the increase in an intake air amount is prevented. SOLUTION: A target air amount is varied interlocking with a change of ignition timing such that a torque reduction accompanying the delayed ignition timing is compensated by an increase in an intake air amount. A throttle is operated according to the target air amount. If the target air amount is abruptly increased, the throttle is overshot temporarily, and is then converged to a state of a steady opening corresponding to the target air amount. However, if a delay of ignition timing is performed so as to prevent knock, an operation of overshooting the throttle is prohibited. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
