PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation restraining device of a fuel tank capable of restraining deformation of the fuel tank caused by a change in pressure in the fuel tank. SOLUTION: This deformation restraining device of the fuel tank includes a pressure sensor 513 for detecting the pressure in the fuel tank 100 and an actuator 114 for adjusting tension of a tank band 110 wound on the fuel tank 100. This deformation restraining device controls the actuator 114 so as to tightly fasten the tank band 110 when the pressure detected by the pressure sensor 513 is reference pressure or more, and allows pressure larger than when the pressure detected by the pressure sensor 513 is less than the reference pressure, to act on the fuel tank 100 from the outside.
