PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of surely confirming a grounding state of metallic plates covered with coating films. SOLUTION: An outdoor unit includes a side plate 6 having the metallic plate 60 covered with the coating film 15, a top panel 7 having a region overlapped to the side plate 6 and having the metallic plate 70 covered with the coating film 16, a fixing screw 12 for fixing the side plate 6 and the top panel 7 in the overlapped state in the region of the top panel 7, and a screw 14 for confirming grounding, fixed to the top panel 7 at a part excluding the region of the top panel 7. The fixing screw 12 is kept into contact with the metallic plate 60 by scraping the coating film 15 in fixing the side plate 6 and the top panel 7, and the screw 14 for confirming grounding is kept into contact with the metallic plate 70 by scraping the coating film 16 in being fixed to the top panel 7.
