PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve recording quality in driving an inkjet head by a multi-drop system. SOLUTION: When the inkjet head 1 discharges one drop to one pixel, a controller 22 controls the head drive part 21 to carry out a discharging operation by using a driving waveform different from an ordinary waveform for discharging ink drops in discharging each of two or more ink drops to one pixel so that the discharging rate of the one-drop-to-one-pixel ink drop is higher than the discharging rate of the first drop in discharging two or more ink drops to one pixel.
