PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information control system capable of acquiring information for a long time while suppressing power consumption of a portable terminal. SOLUTION: This invention relates to an information control system 10 including an in-vehicle unit 1 having a positional information acquiring function and a portable terminal 2 having a positional information acquiring function, wherein, if positional information acquired by the in-vehicle unit 1 matches positional information acquired by the portable terminal 2, the positional information acquiring function of the portable terminal 2 is stopped.
