AMORPHOUS TITANIUM OXIDE DISPERSED LIQUID AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amorphous titanium oxide dispersed liquid which has good preservation stability and can develop excellent adhesion to a base material without spoiling physical properties of a formed film and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the dispersed liquid where nanoparticles of amorphous titanium oxide doped with niobium or tantalum are dispersed in a dispersion medium, a precursor liquid including titanium alkoxide and niobium alkoxide or tantalum alkoxide is hydrolyzed under presence of water of twice mole or more of the total number of moles of metal atoms in the precursor liquid and thereby gel containing amorphous titanium oxide doped with niobium or tantalum can be obtained and the gel is dispersed in the dispersion medium.
