PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deciding a dart contacting point which is a piling up point of a dart suture to pile up in order to carry out dart sewing, utilizing a straight line ruler, a protractor, etc. for manufacturing a cap with a brim of various shapes set by the application and the preference of a cap, by cutting a cutting line attached only to the periphery of a cap from one sheet. SOLUTION: The method is provided with a dart sewing line axially symmetrically connecting a dart sewing line connecting a dart tip and one side of a dart contacting point with another dart contacting point, by making the bottom point of an isosceles triangle a dart contacting point on the basis of a relationship between the bisector of an apex angle and the base of an isosceles triangle.
