Specifically disclosed is a light emitting device provided with a support substrate (11), partitions (17) that separate the plurality of organic EL elements on the support substrate, and a plurality of organic EL elements disposed in the recesses (18) between the partitions, wherein each organic EL element is configured by providing a first electrode (12), a first resistance layer (13) that is formed by coating, a second resistance layer (14) has a higher electrical resistance than the first resistance layer, a light-emitting layer (15), and a second electrode (16) in that order from the support substrate. Therein, the first resistance layer has vertical sections (13a) that follow the contours of the partitions in the direction away from the support substrate, and the second resistance layer is provided contiguously so as to span from one organic EL element to an adjacent organic EL element with a partition therebetween.</p> |
