Steam power station comprising a tuning turbine

The power plant (1) has a feed pump propulsion turbine (18) i.e. steam turbine, for driving a feed water pump. A cold reheater line (19) of the feed pump propulsion turbine is flow-technically connected with a cold reheater line (9) of the main turbo set. A steam pipe (27) of the feed pump propulsion turbine is connected with a main condenser (15). A throttle body (30) is arranged between the steam pipe and the main capacitor. The steam pipe is connected with condenser (23). The main turbo set drives an electrical generator (28) for producing electrical power. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a tuning-turbine in a steam power plant.
