The marine wireless communication system (1) comprises at least one first wireless device (11) disposed in at least one outboard engine unit (10) secured to a stern of a watercraft, and at least one second wireless device (21) disposed inside the watercraft, the first wireless device (11) communicating with the second wireless device (21) according to a predetermined protocol.
