PURPOSE: A molded rice producing apparatus, a producing method thereof, and molded rice are provided to offer various shapes, functions, and colors to the molded rice. CONSTITUTION: A molded rice producing method comprises the following steps: mixing rice powder and boiled rice grains to obtain rice dough; repetitively compressing the rice dough, and compressing the dough into a thin plate form before discharging; supplying the rice dough in between two molding rollers with plural molding grooves having different shapes; and rotating the molding rollers to punch the shape of the molding groove. A molded rice producing apparatus includes a rice dough producing unit(100), a pre-molding unit(200), a molding unit(300), and a heating unit.
