A griddle pan 10 comprises first and second inter-engaging portions 12,14 which provide an arrangement of ridges 2 and bars 1. The ridges 2 are set at a higher level than the bars 1, for supporting a product to be grilled thereon. The bars 1 lie between the ridges 2, but are spaced from the ridges to define partially enclosed voids 6 beneath the bars for catching and trapping juices and fat. The portions 12, 14 can be taken apart for cleaning.
