The kiosk or sales station comprises: at least one storage rack; a weather proof cover; seating for a person and a housing incorporating an audio-visual television monitor screen with a connection to a power source. The device may accommodate at least one operable electronic scrolling message board. The screen may be linked to at least one data receiving, recording or transmitting device such as a video camera, microphone or other electronic news gathering equipment. The screens may be linked to those in other kiosk devices as part of a local, national or international network of interlinked interconnected media kiosks co-ordinated by a central organisation. The kiosk may include wheels for transportation and the cover may be retractable. Also claimed is a kiosk with a screen, a storage structure and mobility means from an interior position to an exterior position.
