<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric steering lock device allowing mounting of a plurality of switch elements on it without increasing size of this device and capable of detecting a working position of a lock bolt accurately. <P>SOLUTION: This electric steering lock device is provided with the lock bolt 34 capable of moving between a lock position where it is engaged with a steering shaft and an unlock position where its engagement is released, an actuator 46 for moving the lock bolt 34, a transmission mechanism for transmitting driving force of the actuator 46 to the lock bolt 34, and a plurality of switch elements (microswitches 65A-65C) for detecting a working position of the lock bolt 34. The transmission mechanism has a rotary gear 49 for moving the lock bolt 34 in the interlocking relationship. The rotary gear 49 is provided with a switch cam part 67 for switching on or off the switch elements. A substrate 63 extended in the direction crossing an axis of a rotary shaft of the rotary gear 49 orthogonally is arranged at an intermediate position of the switch cam part 37, and the switch elements are arranged on both of front and rear faces of the substrate 63. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
