Connection element production method for bayonet connector and connection device

The method involves forming a through bore (12) by piercing a wall (5) of a body of a bayonet connecting element (1) from an outer surface (10) of the wall. An outer surface of the wall around the through bore is machined so as to form hollow. A lug (4) is inserted into the through bore from the outer surface of the wall such that a head (8) of the lug is projected from the outer surface of the wall of the bayonet connecting element. The formation of the through bore and the machining of the outer surface of the wall are executed in a simultaneous manner. An independent claim is also included for a bayonet connecting element for a connector.
