<p>The assembly (3) has a wheel (10) with a rim (11) rotating on an axle of an aircraft about a rotational axis (X), and a brake (20) with disks (22) extending into the rim. An actuator-carrier (23) carries brake actuators (24) facing the disks to selectively press the disks. The actuator-carrier carries a rotary drive component i.e. electric geared motor (30), to drive the wheel in rotation such that the component extends outside the rim. A dog clutch and an annular electromagnet selectively connect two half-gears of a ring gear (31) carried by the actuator-carrier.</p> |
