PURPOSE: A method and device for monitoring a solar power plant are provided to increase the generation efficiency of the solar power plant by monitoring main components of the solar power plant in real time. CONSTITUTION: A receiver of a monitoring device receives external information from an inverter, a connector, and a solar array(S310). The external information is stored in a storing unit of the monitoring device(S320). A determining unit of the monitoring device compares a temperature value of the external information with a reference value stored in the storage unit(S330). The determining unit determines the replacement or check timing of each component based on component state information(S340). A transmitter transmits a control signal to a corresponding distributer(S350). The monitoring device displays a message which shows the name, replacement and check of the corresponding component(S360). The determining unit determines the abnormal state of each solar array based on voltage and current values(S370). The display unit displays the abnormal state of a specific array(S380). |
