Double-wall cup

The method involves axially sliding a tube-shaped outer sleeve (4) made of paper material on a prefabricated inner cup and attaching the outer sleeve to the inner cup (2). The tube-shaped outer sleeve is formed from a flat blank by joining ends of the blank, before sliding the sleeve on the inner cup. The ends of the blank are joined together via applying an adhesive to a limited area of the sleeve, where thermoplastic material is used as the adhesive. A hot-melt adhesive and a sealing varnish are used as the thermoplastic material. An independent claim is also included for a double-walled cup comprising an inner cup.
