#CMT# #/CMT# The lamp has a reflector (13) forming a retaining area (15) for a lighting unit, and a base part (17) and a housing (11) connected to the reflector. A container (47) accommodating a ballast and an air conducting wall (23) screening the container against the disturbing heat effect are arranged in the housing, in such a manner that a flow channel (25) projecting in the direction of an air outlet opening (29) is formed between the housing and the air conducting wall. The flow channel remains in flow connection with the retaining area over an air inlet opening (27) formed in the base part. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Lamp i.e. pendant lamp (claimed).
