Oral- and dental care- and -cleaning agent comprises: (a) ethyl lauroyl arginate (0.01-2.5 wt.%, based on its weight in a carrier; and (b) at least one antibacterial agent (0.00001-2.5 wt.%, based on its weight in the carrier) including paraben, silver salts, copper salts and/or zinc salts.
