摘要 <p>A hydrogen control system for a generator housing includes: a mass flow control system 100 fluidly connected to the generator housing, to measure a flow rate of a gas mixture extracted from the generator housing and modify the flow rate across a range of flow rates; and a vent 108 conduit fluidly connected to the mass flow control system, which receives a portion of the gas mixture from the mass flow control system and feeds it to an outlet. The generator can be operatively connected to a turbine 208, such as a steam turbine of a heat recovery steam generator, and a gas turbine (figs 4,5). The gas flow control system may include a mass flow control valve (fig 1, 110) and adjust the gas mixture flow rate base on a signal received form a purity monitoring system (PMS) 204 which can monitor environmental conditions within the housing, including hydrogen purity. Should the mass flow valve fail it can be closed and bypassed by opening a solenoid valve (fig 1, 112). The flow meter can be a thermal dissipation or a coriolis type. PMS 204 can transmit signals to an external database for diagnosis, efficiency and control analysis and to hydrogen source 106 to provide clean hydrogen to the generator. PMS 204 can include two independent analysers (fig 3, 304) connected to front, central and rear sections of the generator housing.</p>
