PURPOSE: A membership service providing method of portable terminal and portable terminal are provided to offer a membership card service through a payment terminal of a cooperation company by recording card information corresponding to a membership card registered in the portable terminal in a blank card. CONSTITUTION: A card reader unit(105) reads card information of a membership card. A card writer unit(110) records the card information in a blank card. A memory unit(195) stores read card information. A controller(130) stores the card information of the read membership card in the memory unit when one or more membership card registration requests is received. The controller controls for recording the card information in the blank card when a blank card recording request is received from stored card information.
