<p>The invention relates to an installation for the protection of natural or mechanical draught counterflow cooling towers against frost. According to the invention, the installation comprises some supply pipes (3), connected to some warm water supply pipes (4) of a cooling tower by means of separating and adjusting valves (5), some hot water distribution pipes (6) provided with water spreading devices (7) being connected to the four supply pipes (3) by means of a separation and control valve (5), a part of the water flow rate may be directed towards a basin for the cooled water of the tower through some pipes provided with discharge valves (10).</p> |
