PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for sorting construction waste are provided to improve work efficiency by easily sorting and discharging light construction waste and heavy construction waste. CONSTITUTION: A first crushing unit(100) firstly crushes construction waste inputted by vibration. The first crushing unit separates heavy and hard construction waste from the light construction waste. A moving screen unit(200) passes small particle waste and downwardly discharges the small particle waste. A first sorting unit(300) sorts and discharges light construction waste by generating wind. A second crushing unit(400) separates waste with large volume from waste with small volume by inputting the heavy and hard construction waste which is not sorted in the first sorting unit and the moving screen.
