<p>The invention relates to a remover for a protective needle shield (5) for protecting a hollow injection needle (4) of a syringe (3), the syringe (3) arrangeable in an elongate housing (2) of an injection arrangement having an orifice at a proximal end (P) intended to be applied against an injection site, wherein the remover comprises a cap (25) attachable to the proximal end (P) of the housing (2), wherein a resilient clip (26) is attached to the cap (25) for joint axial movement and independent rotation, the resilient clip (26) arranged to extend through the orifice into the housing (2) when the cap (25) is attached to the housing (2), wherein the resilient clip (26) comprises at least two barbs (27) arranged for snapping into a circumferential notch or behind a shoulder of the protective needle shield (5) attached to the hollow needle (4).</p> |
