PURPOSE: Provided is a robot for checking an overhead transmission line to examine safely and rapidly a transmission line. CONSTITUTION: A robot for checking an overhead transmission line includes rail portions(200,300) which are fixed and coupled in an overhead ground wire and move, a wrist portion(400) which is fixed and coupled with the rail sections, a body portion(100) which is fixed and coupled with the wrist portion and checks transmission line. The rail sections comprise a first roller which is placed on the overhead ground wire and a connecting part which is fixed and coupled with the first roller. A seating groove, in which the overhead ground wire is settled, is formed in one side of the first roller. |
