Disclosed is a pesticidal composition comprising a synergistically effective mixture of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of (a) clothianidin, imidacloprid, thiacloprid, dinotefuran, acetarniprid, nitenpyram and thiamethoxam; and the compound (b) picoxystrobin. The disclosure also relates to the use of this composition comprising active substance combinations in the form of pesticidal and seed dressing agents, methods for controlling pests and fungi for protecting seeds and seeds treated by said active substance combinations.
