Provided is a purified human IgG1 monoclonal antibody (mAb) that specifically binds to human IL-1a, the mAb comprising a heavy chain covalently joined to a light chain, wherein the heavy and light chain each comprises a specified amino acid sequence. The antibody can be used to treat a disease caused by increased E-selection expressed on human endothelial cells. |
