A fluid dispensing system including a pump assembly for pressurizing a low cost container is disclosed. The container (20) is non-reversibly connected to a coupler module (100). This allows for different manufacturing processes to be used for the various parts, the container (20) being blow moulded for low cost and the coupler (100) injection moulded for narrow dimensional tolerance. A grip body (82) of a wand assembly (80) is releasably connected to the coupler module (100), this being achieved accurately but injection moulding the grip body (82) as well as the coupler module (100). A discharge conduit (66) fluidly connects the wand assembly (80) to the container (20). The grip body (82) is slideable relative to a rigid conduit (68) between a retracted storage position and an extended operable position. A bleed valve and pump assembly (40) is also disclosed.
