<p>A manufacturing device (1) for a glass film is provided with a glass film ribbon (G) forming unit (10) for forming a glass film ribbon from molten glass or a glass base material for secondary processing, a take-up unit (20) for taking up, in a roll shape, the glass film ribbon (G) that has been drawn out downward while cooled, and a width direction cutting unit (30) for cutting the glass film ribbon (G) along the width direction just before the take-up position of the take-up unit (20). The vertical distance (h) from the position at which the forming unit (10) starts the forming of the glass film ribbon (G) to the position at which the width direction cutting unit (30) cuts the glass film ribbon (G) is five times the size in the width direction of the glass film ribbon (G).</p> |
