<p>The device (10) has a wiper blade (14) comprising a channel for washing liquid, where the washing liquid is applied on a pane (16) over an exhaust opening (18) of the channel. A control device (22) is provided for triggering leakage of the washing liquid from the exhaust opening. The control device is coupled with a detection unit (24) e.g. rain sensor, for detecting an environment parameter i.e. external temperature. Emerging of the washing liquid is releasable based on a signal of the detection unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a windscreen wiper device for a car.</p>
