The abovementioned NR circuit (106) adds/subtracts noise quantities each determined ahead of time by a different signal processing process to/from data of pixels that are neighboring along the time axis or the space axis. As a result, it is possible to provide a liquid crystal display device having a noise-reduction effect and having low pixel blurring after noise reduction processing.</p>
