<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce color unevenness and thereby improve the quality of a display image by suppressing the generation of stress, in an electro-optical device, such as liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: An electro-optical device (1) includes an electro-optical panel (100); a holding member (310) which houses the electro-optical panel; a heat radiation member (320), provided at a side opposite to an incidence surface of the electro-optical panel; and a light-shielding plate (600), provided so as to come into contact with the holding member and the electro-optical panel from the incidence surface side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
