PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a reverse twist phenomenon cannot be spontaneously dissipated in an in-plane switching liquid crystal panel.
SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel includes: first and second substrates disposed opposite to each other with a fixed distance therebetween; a liquid crystal layer sealed between the first and the second substrates; an alignment layer; a counter electrode pattern formed on the first substrate side; and a pixel electrode pattern formed on the first substrate side, wherein a plurality of electrode branches whose extension directions are bent at one bending point provided closer to a connection part where a contact is formed than a center part of a pixel region are connected at least in an end part on the contact side. In this liquid crystal panel, slits are formed in the pixel electrode pattern so that extension directions of slits formed closer to the contact with the bending point as the boundary and an alignment direction of the liquid crystal layer may cross at≥7°.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
|
