<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing carbon nanostructures by which a high growth efficiency is attained by enhancing the growth rate of the carbon nanostructures, and to provide a carbon nanostructure production apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing carbon nanostructures includes: a preheating process of preheating a raw material gas serving as a carbon source in a gas preheating section heated to a temperature higher than 800°C and not higher than 1,000°C; and a reaction process of forming the carbon nanostructures by introducing the preheated raw material gas into a reaction section heated to a temperature higher than 650°C and not higher than 800°C and bringing the gas into contact with a catalyst. The carbon nanostructure production apparatus includes a gas preheating section kept at a temperature higher than 800°C and not higher than 1,000°C and a reaction section kept at a temperature higher than 650°C and not higher than 800°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
