<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing an oil leakage in a flange joint part of piping for use in oil-containing equipment that can surely prevent the oil leakage without being influenced by the amount of oil leakage in execution, accuracy in cleaning and scraping work and accuracy in applying a caulking agent and can surely prevent the oil leakage even when the caulking material is cracked by aging. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preventing the occurrence of such a situation that oil leaks out of the flange joint part of piping with mutual flanges joined using a bolt and a nut in the piping H for circulating insulating oil for use in the oil-containing equipment, includes processes for providing both sides of the flange joint part of piping with scraping parts K of strip ring shape, covering the whole flange joint part and a piping part adjacent to the flange joint part with a thin material S inside both scraping parts K, and applying the caulking agent C to the whole thin material S and the scraping parts K of strip ring shape located on both sides of the thin material S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
