<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short pipe for buried pipe lines of water service business, a buried pipe line using the short pipe, and a method of replacing an intervention equipment of the buried pipe line. <P>SOLUTION: In the short pipe relatively short in length which is cast iron pipe employed on the buried pipe line for the water service business and is connected to the intervention equipment in the buried pipe line, the short pipe is a tubular body which has a connection flange portion connected to the intervention equipment on one end and which has on the other end a trumpet-shapedly formed receptor into which the plug-fit end of the other buried pipe is inserted. Bore of the tubular body of the short pipe is determined to be an inside diameter which fittably swallows at least one part of the tubular body of the buried pipe which follows the plug-fit end of the buried pipe inserted into the receptor and the plug-fit end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
