<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform printing on backing paper, and to prevent enthusiasm of a user for eco-friendly life from being wasted. <P>SOLUTION: A host computer 200 has accommodation paper information D1 about paper supply inlets 1 to 8 and sizes of paper sheets accommodated in the respective paper supply inlets, and can instruct a printer 100 to perform printing in which a paper supply inlet accommodating a paper sheet having a size matched with a paper size designated by print data is automatically selected. In the host computer 200, setting of whether printing is performed on the paper sheet supplied from the automatically selected paper supply inlet without limitation or a user is made to confirm the automatically selected paper supply inlet before the printing, can be carried out. When the confirmation before the printing is selected, the information about the automatically selected paper supply inlet is displayed on a display and either one of changing of the paper supply inlet, continuing of the printing and stopping of the printing can be selectively accepted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
