PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car capable of ventilating the inside of the car, capable of reducing nose in the car caused when the car lifts in a hoistway, and capable of restraining a change in atmospheric pressure in the car caused when the car lifts in the hoistway. SOLUTION: This elevator car includes a compartment 1 having a car floor 2 and the ceiling 4 and an opening-closing device 32 arranged on the car floor 2. A ventilation passage for communicating the inside and outside of the compartment 1 is formed on the car floor 2, and the opening-closing device 32 opens-closes the ventilation passage. The car floor 2 includes a floorboard 11 forming a ventilation port 11a, a bottom plate 13 separately arranged downward from the floorboard 11 and forming a ventilation port 13a, and a beam member 14 connected to the floorboard 11 and the bottom plate 13. An air flow passage 19 for communicating the ventilation port 11a with the ventilation port 13a is formed from the floorboard 11, the bottom plate 13 and the beam member 14. The ventilation port 11a, the ventilation port 13a and the air flow passage 19 constitute the ventilation passage of the car floor 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
