PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split seal ring allowing the easy and quick flush joining of seal faces in a plurality of split bodies in a split seal ring. SOLUTION: The split seal ring 16 comprises two split bodies 30, 31 which are connected to each other by a connector 42. The split seal ring 16 has: a taper hole 43 formed across the two split bodies 30, 31 so as to pass through abutting surfaces 30a, 31a of the two split bodies 30, 31; a taper pin 44 inserted into an inner face of the taper hole 43 in a closely contacting state; and a fixture 45 for fixing the taper pin 44 inserted into the taper hole 43.
