PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce tilting moment generating tilting of a holder supporting a plurality of socket bodies by utilizing a nut runner in a fastening device including the nut runner. SOLUTION: A socket support mechanism 20 of the fastening device 1 includes a drive member 22 driving the holder 21 so that respective socket bodies 30 move to a position enabling engagement with a rotary shaft 54. By moving the rotary shaft 54 in an engaging state toward the forwarding direction, a runner moving drive member 60 moves the socket body 30 to the forwarding direction with respect to the holder 21 and makes a bolt 4 abut upon a workpiece side fastening part 2c. The rotary shaft 54 is arranged in a specific position with respect to a joining part 25a to the holder 21 in the drive member 22. The specific position is a position where moment M generating tilting of the holder 21 around the joining part 25a by the weight of the socket body 30 is reduced by a drive force with which the runner moving drive member 60 moves the rotary shaft 54 in the engaging state toward the advancing direction.
