PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely easily perform two elements needed for communication between two speakers by use of terminal devices through a network: (1) character input and (2) providing of a topic. SOLUTION: In the method for supporting a communication between speakers A, B by use of terminal devices 1, 2 through a network, a database storing choice candidates of one speaker and conversational sentences corresponding to the choice candidates, and choice candidates of the other speaker and conversational sentences corresponding to the choice candidates is used to provide a plurality of choices and corresponding conversation sentences to screens of the terminal devices 1, 2 according to instructions of the speakers A, B, thereby the communication is performed.
