PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving state determination apparatus which can suitably determine a driver's awakening state by detecting pressure distribution applied to a driver's seat during driving. SOLUTION: The driving state determination apparatus includes a pressure detection means for detecting pressure distribution applied at least to a driver's seat back and a driver's seat part, and a determination means for determining a driver's awakening state on the basis of a change in the pressure distribution detected by the pressure detection means.
