PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter cleaning system for a water purifier, which surely and effectively discharges concentrated water in a reverse osmosis membrane filter. SOLUTION: The water purifier 1 includes a drain port 28 for draining the concentrated water in the reverse osmosis membrane filter 21 as wastewater, and a constant flow valve 36 for reducing a flow rate and a solenoid valve 38 for draining water that are arranged in parallel on a water delivery path connecting to the drain port 28. A controller 8, which has received, from a low pressure sensor 4 for measuring the pressure of water introduced from a tap water introduction part 2, a detection signal 6 indicating that the water pressure has exceeded a predetermined pressure value, performs control to open the solenoid valve 38 for draining water by means of a control signal 11.
