PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for recording an angle-multiplexed hologram in which higher density and a larger capacity can be accelerated, by increasing the number of multiplexing in angle-multiplexed hologram recording. SOLUTION: First, a page data region that can be simultaneously displayed on a display screen of an SLM (spatial light modulator) 10 is divided into N regions (where N is an integer of 2 or more) (S1). A predetermined angle schedule is determined for each corresponding region I of the divided page data region I (I=1, 2,..., N) (S2). At actual recording, a page data region I is sequentially assigned as an active region, and each time of moving the active region, angle-multiplexed recording is carried out, by changing a relative angle between reference light and the recording medium (S3).
